Who the hell am I and why should you listen to me?

I’m Skylar. I am an elder emo hairstylist and salon manager working full time behind the chair, as a building stylist and new mom…I know that growing a clientele is the first step towards having the life of your dreams.

But the step before that? Creating an engaging and unique brand that sets you apart in your area. I’ve done the work and have a lot to show for it. I will NEVER claim to be a six figure stylist working two days a week. I am a hustler, and I’ve successfully made a name for myself in my area doing hairstyles that I LOVE.

Before I even stepped foot into a salon for work, my background was in social media marketing and content creation. A very young Skylar was behind the desk of major publications and global beauty brands, working with Instagram and Facebook before the Metaverse explosion. I took courses in graphic design and typography, snuck into New York Fashion Week, and constantly drank in advertising psychology essays like a cold beer.

I am just trying to make it, and I want you to make it too! I’m so excited for you to take this big leap into making your presence known!
